The Hungarian Law LVII of 2015 on Energy Efficiency and 122/2015. (V. 26) Government Decree on energy-consuming businesses from December 21, 2016 obliges the use of energy experts.
Which companies are required to participate?
Every business entity, whether small or medium-sized, whose average annual energy consumption exceeds
- 400,000 kWh of electricity
- 100,000 m3 of natural gas
- 3 400 GJ of heat.
An energy specialist may be a labor-intensive or corporate-independent natural person or a business organization.
Examination of the professional qualification is the responsibility of the receiving business organization.
The energy required to mobilize officer entities are required to report this within 30 days after the use of the Hungarian Energy & Utilities Regulatory Office.
